BOOST…for meetings sake was established in
February 2008 by native Cincinnatian Jenny White. As a Corporate Meeting Planner, Assistant Banquet Manager and Facility Manager she frequently heard requests for “A cool place to have a meeting; somewhere with natural sunlight and comfy furniture.” The passing of her Uncle Bobby (58) made her realize that she wasn’t guaranteed tomorrow and didn’t want to leave this earth with any regrets. His death motivated her to take her skills to the next level and create the unique meeting space she heard so many requests for. After 9 years with Procter and Gamble she decided to leave Corporate America and enter the world of entrepreneurship.
After months of searching she found 538 Reading Road, which had the character, spaciousness and convenience she was looking for. With most of the renovations completed by previous building owner Ran Mullins, it was then up to the buildings current owners, Urban Sites, to complete the space to meet her vision. With her vision coming to fruition it was time to name the space. She wanted a name that signified the anticipated affect the environment would have on an attendee when participating in a meeting there. She wanted the atmosphere to raise people’s awareness, to increase their productivity and creativity and to elevate their enthusiasm…hence the name BOOST…for meetings sake was born. From day one her goal was to create the ultimate meeting experience from beginning to end for attendee’s and planners. That goal has been achieved by her proactive approach to logistics, attention to details, exceptional customer service and her knowledge of the industry.
After three years Jenny is taking her business to the next level by opening a second location in Mason, Ohio. The newest meeting space is being designed based upon the original principals .... character, flexibility, exclusivity, convenience, ease and exceptional customer service. The new 5,500sq' boutique loft is due to open late August 2011.
Jenny White thanks the many family and friends who helped her dream become a reality and thanks her valued customers for making all of the hard work worth it.
